We are so excited to share the newest resource from Seeds Kids Worship- the four year memory plan! You’ve asked and we are so excited to create this tool for you to use in your family, church, school group, or any other ways you can utilize this resource to get the word of God hidden in more hearts!
A child’s worldview is set by the age of 13, so we encourage you to make the most of each moment. In fact, the new Seeds motto is “Don’t Miss This Moment!” At the end of the story, nothing else will matter more. We want to be intentional with our kids to impact their lives for eternity. We know you won’t be disappointed for instilling a love for memorizing God‘s Word into your child’s (and your) hearts! We are so excited to partner with you in this journey.
While using the plan, we suggest learning one new song per week. Try to choose a consistent day of the week that you introduce the new song. You might want to talk a little bit about what the verse means and make sure your kids know where it is in the Bible. We would encourage you to have the kids look up the verse in their Bible, and possibly highlight or underline it as they memorize each verse. That will serve to be a fun record for them as they continue to memorize God‘s word. Once you all know the verse move onto the next verse, but don’t forget to keep reviewing old verses. We would suggest making a playlist of songs you’ve learned to review and consistently going through them. It’s easy to just play the music in the background while life happens. It’s amazing what kids catch onto.
We all know that life happens. We get sick, move, have babies, and have other needs that make our schedules get a little wacky from time to time. Don’t worry because we took that into account when we made the memory plan. There will be some weeks that you miss and that is just perfectly fine and built into the year!
Once your kiddos finish up the year plan, send us a picture of them with their plan and they will receive a small completion award and gift from Seeds! We want to do everything we can to encourage the next generation to memorize God’s word. Because we believe that kids who SING God’s Word, KNOW God’s Word!

Theresa Whiteford is a wife to Phil and mom to seven. She resides in the Nashville area with her family. She homeschools her kids and has been a huge fan of Seeds Kids Worship for many years. Her greatest delight is seeing and hearing the effectiveness of her children singing God’s Word.
