Psalm 139:5-6 says,
“You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!”
We planned to record a 5 song EP for Seeds Lullabies based on Psalm 139, but as we began writing and recording the songs, we believed the Lord was clearly directing us to make a complete album. Several of the songs were recorded and sung by families on our team that were either pregnant or recently gave birth to their first child. Kimber, one of our primary worship leaders, was literally singing these songs in the studio in her third trimester. What an incredible gift to all of us to experience the power of God’s creative works as we made these songs during that season!
All of the musical elements were played by Nashville musicians - from the bowing of every note on the cello to the picking of the acoustic guitar strings - these songs are all organic and filled with the heart and soul of the masterful musicians and artists. Every song was crafted with great passion and care. It is important for us to share that in the age of AI music where so much recording is programmed and manufactured. We believe you will both hear and feel the difference.
And finally, we prayed over the writing and recording of these songs and they were made with the intention of you, your family and your community lifting your eyes to the Lord. He truly is The Creator. He is definitely The Author. He is the one we endeavor to honor with these songs. So, lift your heart to Him and be strengthened and comforted as you find rest for your souls in listening and singing these songs with us.

You Know Me is based on Psalm 139:1–3, a comforting reminder that God knows us completely - our thoughts, our ways, and every part of our lives. This gentle song invites families to rest in the truth that we are fully known and lovingly cared for by Him.
