Happy Day Seeds Family!!
It's the beginning of the New Year, and this is a great time to realign where we are putting our FIRST. I like to break this down by my time, talent and treasure. At the start of the new year, I do a self-inventory, realigning my time by ensuring my first is to God. I like to make sure my mornings are His, so I start a bible reading plan to keep me accountable and put aside time in the morning for God.
Next, my talent. Am I using my gifts to glorify God in everything I do? Am I using my influence at work to spread kingdom love to my co-workers? Our gifts and talents come directly from God, so it's important not to take credit but to give credit to God.
Lastly, where is my treasure going? Money can be tricky sometimes, but the Word says everyone should give as they are able. Deuteronomy 16:17, God is calling us to sow seed in our houses of worship, missionaries and charities, and we can do that by giving Him our first!
