Seeds from The Word: A Harvest of Blessing

Monday Motivation for Moms - Galatians 6:9

Good Morning Seeds Fam!!

It's so easy to get discouraged by our long task list, the news, or even not feeling enough. Perhaps you've been doing A LOT for a long time and feel unnoticed and uncared for by your kids, husband, or church leaders. In these situations, it's easy to grow frustrated and lose sight of Jesus. We do not operate by our own strength but by His Spirit. Remind yourself of all God has done in your life this morning, take a breath, slow down and realize it's okay to feel discouraged, but let's not get stuck there. There comes a blessing if we choose not to give up and stay faithful to Him even when we go unrecognized. Jesus sees you, and that's enough.

Let's challenge ourselves today to stick with it. Here's a prayer led by Jamie C. Martin we can pray for today:

"Dear God, help me notice today when I begin to operate from my own strength instead of Your Spirit. May I use those moments as a reminder to slow down, trusting in the fruit You’re growing both in my life and in the lives of my children. In Jesus’ Name, Amen."
