“Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.“— Esther 4:14
Life is full of ups and downs, good times and bad, easy seasons and hard ones, but nothing shocks God. His plans are always perfect, including blessing us with our roles as mothers. And because of that, we can have confidence in the call to parent the children He gave us.
Last Sunday was rough; I struggled to get everyone out the door in time for church, and morale was low. Am I good enough as a mom? Could I be better? Am I doing this right? All these questions flooded my mind. As we left the sanctuary that morning, a lady handed me a sticker and said, “I think you need this.” I looked down at my sticker, which read, “Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.” It was then I realized this was just a season, a gap in time, that God needed me to focus on my children and my family and recognize that this is precisely the purpose of my creation!
