Seeds from The Word: The Greatest Gift

Christmas is such a great time to share the love of Christ with those around you. Where Christmas could be the most joyful time of the year for your family, it's not that way for many people. Many people are reminded of painful circumstances during Christmas or may even feel alone. The greatest gift we have as Christians is our ability to love and have grace for those around us. I love reading 1 Corinthians 13 and the power of love that Paul talks about here. The world does not love like this, but Jesus does love like this, and we are commanded to do the same for others.

So whether it's a challenging family member, a slacker co-worker, or a problematic friend, I want to challenge you today to show them the love of Christ. You never know what someone is carrying! The offer of a hug, a listening ear, a genuine compliment, forgiveness, an invite to sit at your table this Christmas can change someone's life right now and for eternity. Let's live a radical life of love this Christmas, family!
