Seeds from The Word: Radiant in His Presence

Back to School Encouragement from the Word

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles." (Psalm 34:4-6 ESV)

Parents, we see you! Juggling work, kids, and everything else life throws your way can be overwhelming. Fears and worries can creep in, leaving us feeling anything but radiant.

But Psalm 34 offers a beautiful reminder:

Seek Him. Just like the Psalmist, let's actively seek God's presence. In prayer, in worship, in His Word... find those moments to connect with Him.
He answers. He hears our cries, even when they're whispered amidst the chaos of parenting. He delivers us from our fears and anxieties.
We become radiant. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, His light fills us up. We become radiant – not because of our own strength, but because of His presence in us. Our faces, our lives, reflect His peace and joy.

So today, let's turn our gaze towards Him. In His presence, we find true peace and strength. We are radiant, not because of who we are, but because of whose we are.
