Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
Have you ever wondered how everything came to be? The world is so big and amazing, with so many different things in it. There are tall mountains, wide oceans, fluffy clouds, and even little bugs that crawl on the ground.
The Bible tells us that God made all of these things. He spoke, and they came into being! Can you imagine that? God is so powerful that He can create anything He wants just by speaking.
When God created the world, He made it perfect. There was no sadness, no pain, and no sin. Everything was beautiful and good. God was pleased with what He had made, and He said that it was "very good."
We can learn a lot from this verse. First, it teaches us that God is the Creator of everything. He is all-powerful and He can do anything. Second, it teaches us that God is good. He made the world to be a beautiful and perfect place.
So next time you see a beautiful sunset or a cute little animal, remember that God made it. He is the one who created all the wonderful things in the world.
